A Piranha Plant is a plant that comes out of a warp pipe and it tries to bite you. The ways to kill it is to use a Super Star, or shoot fireballs from a Fire Flower. Ice will freeze it, but eventually will get unfrozen, unless you butt-stomp it while it is frozen.
